This is awesome! I bought this along with a standard door stop. This one works so much better. The traditional stop didn't even stop our door from closing. This Stoppy is a great design. I highly recommend it.

I needed something to hold my door open so my 1 year old would stop slamming our office door shut. With tug my son had removed the door stop and the door was shut again. If you don't have kids this probably works fine but I wouldn't bother spending more money on this on than a regular wedge door stop.

Stroppy works about as well as a ball bearing as a door stop! It does not work on finished concrete, carpeted floors or linoleum floors. Tried on four different doors on these surfaces of various gap heights and the stroppy would not hold door to even a mild nudge much less moderate pressure.

Save your money, this product is a true "New Age, Yuppie Nice Looking" piece of junk. A simple wedge type door stop worked well on each of the doors that the Stroppy failed on. You can find decent ones (which are ones I used) at National Hardware V334 The Wedge Door Stop, Brown, 2-Pack, 4-Inch
