after looking online for this product, i was very happy to find it on amazon for this great affordable price. Have not used it yet, but im sure it will be fine for my mother since it was on her xmas wishlist.

This does the job, even scrapes the bottom of the bowl (which I hear is an issue with other blades). Will make the mixer work harder but not an issue.

I have had mine for over two years now. Great product. One of the first of this type and very effective. Just bought one for a friend. No issues with mine - barely even showing any signs of wear. I do find it works better on a lubricated surface - so I tend to add oil or liquids or fats after starting the mixer so the beater swings them around the bowl. The operation is very smooth then - no squeaking or vibration at all.
