Bought this same drill a couple of years ago and it came with a 3.5 battery. Same drill just bought and now comes with less powerful battery and higher price! Despite that fact it is a good drill.

I think this is the best screw gun out there as far as durability,weight,and strength combinied. Have another one for 6 years. Just burnt out but the batteries still good so I bought the tool with no kit. Now I have 2 .I use this drill every working day. Superior.

I have used Panasonic drills of over 15 years. I use them just about every day in home repair. This is the second 15.6 drill that I have bought, The first one still works with the same batterys that came with it,however their charge is shorter than when new. Panasonic tools will recharge faster than you can use the sesond battery so you are never out of juice. As far as tough I hate to think of how many times I have dropped it of the top of my step ladder.
